Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association (AMRTA) created this page as a forum for those who have a great love for Western Australia’s Margaret River Wine Region – whether you have been to the region before or are planning a holiday! Here you’ll find general information about products and events, competitions, in addition to loads of images and videos which depict what makes the ‘Margaret River’ experience so special.
Your input to sharing these experiences through comments, likes, images and videos is most welcome. We want you to engage and interact as much as possible.
AMRTA does not accept responsibility for the comments of fans on this page and the postings to the Margaret River Wine Region Facebook page are not representative of the opinions of AMRTA, nor do we confirm their accuracy.
We want you all to express your love for Australia’s most diverse wine region, but please do so in an appropriate manner.
Posts will be deleted if they contain:
- Violent, obscene, profane, hateful, derogatory, illegal or racist comments, content, links or images or incite such comment or behaviour.
- Comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation.
- Solicitations, advertisements, or endorsements of any financial, commercial organisations who is a non-member of AMRTA.
- Multiple successive off-topic posts by a single user.
- Repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users.
- Offensive, inaccurate, false, misleading or deceptive comments or content.
- Any other inappropriate content or comments as determined by AMRTA’s discretion.
Users who do not comply with these conditions will be blocked from the page at AMRTA’s discretion.

Posting photos to our wall:
AMRTA does NOT claim ANY ownership rights in photos that you post on our ‘wall’. However, by posting a photo on our wall you hereby grant to AMRTA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, revocable, non-transferable, perpetual licence to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display and/or reproduce, your photo, including without limitation in any online media formats and through any social media channels, pages or accounts.
You can revoke this licence at any time by contacting us in writing at communications@margaretriver.com and informing us that you no longer want us to use your photo.
Competitions:
AMRTA runs a series of giveaways on the Margaret River Wine Region Facebook page.
- Entry to competitions is free.
- Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association staff are ineligible to win.
- Children under the age of 18 are allowed to enter unless otherwise specified.
- Western Australian, Australian and International fans of the Margaret River Wine Region are eligible to win unless otherwise specified.
- Winners will be selected randomly unless otherwise specified.
- By entering the competition all entrants agree to allow the Augusta Margaret River Tourism Association to contact them on Facebook.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
- The prizes are subject to availability and bound by the conditions imposed by the operator.
- Entrants will be directed to relevant terms and conditions where applicable.
- AMRTA is not liable for any losses that may occur as a result of another party contributing prizes to our Facebook competitions.
